With Conference Centres of Excellence celebrating
their 21st anniversary this membership year, Farncombe Conference
Centre examines the significance of the number 21 and what it means to us.
It may have something to do with our impressive
tally of awards under our belt. Since 2006, the Conference Centre has accumulated
an impressive 21 awards, all accrediting the Centre for its excellent service,
facilities and idyllic country-side location.
2012 saw Farncombe Conference Centre named as the country’s
best Business Tourism venue by industry experts VisitEngland. With a record
number of applicants, it was an honour to be so highly regarded among numerous
different venues and to obtain national recognition.
One of these many awards includes the Green
Tourism Gold award, which recognises our continued sustainable development
policies such as our installation of solar panels and electric car charging
point.
Other awards include our Venue Verdict Gold award
which we have consistently earned every year since the industry standard was
launched in 2009. This is particularly important to us as it is based on
customer feedback.
As Farncombe Conference Centre gets older we are
sure these awards and recognitions will continue to grow! They are a testament to
the dedication of our staff and our commitment to excellence.
