A corner of Greece in the Cotswolds

Enhance your stay at Cotswold Conference Centre with a marvellous Meze Night at our local Greek tavern, Michael’s.

Michael’s is an award-winning Mediterranean restaurant on Chipping Campden High Street, a couple
of miles from the Conference Centre. It is hosted by Cypriot Michael Alexiou, a proud ambassador
of Greek cuisine.

The restaurant has a warm, Mediterranean atmosphere all year round – and a roaring log fire in the
winter. For just £14 +VAT supplement per person, you will get:

• Transport to and from the Greek restaurant

• A three-course Meze menu, featuring nine hot and cold Hors D’oeuvres: Houmous, Tzatziki, Kalamari, Halloumi cheese, Kieftedes (Greek meatballs), Mushrooms in red wine, Black eyed bean salad, Minted broad bean salad and Cous Cous – all served with hot Pitta bread

• A generous mixed platter of char-grilled meats, served with Greek salad and French fries
(vegetarian options available)

• Your choice from a selection of delicious desserts

• An authentic ‘Cypriot’ experience, with plate smashing and traditional Greek dancing

The Meze is the most famous meal of the eastern Mediterranean region. It consists of an array of little dishes of seasonal foods, followed by a platter of barbequed meats cooked in the traditional way over charcoal embers. This gives a unique aroma to the meat.

NB: Drinks are not included. Must be booked as part of a residential event at the Conference Centre. Exclusive use is an option.
