Businesses demanding high-quality Christmas parties on a shoe-string budget should consider an out-of-town venue instead, according to a leading Cotswold conference centre.
Directors of top London event agencies met this week [September 19] at ‘The Great Christmas Party Debate’ and concluded that “95 per cent of enquires are for £50 per-head packages.” As a consequence, almost half of delegates (41 per cent) said they did not feel excited by the prospect of their 2011 Christmas party. The event was reported in full by the e-newsletter Meetings & Incentive Travel.
But the problem can be solved by looking beyond the city centre, according to one Christmas Party venue, Cotswold Conference Centre in Broadway, Worcestershire.
“Small budgets are no news to venues outside London,” said Debbie Sarjant, Cotswold Conference Centre’s marketing manager. “But the service we provide often exceeds "shoe-string" expectations.
“Our Christmas party nights for 2011 are a steal at only £35 per head for a Robbie Tribute and disco, or £38.95 for the eight-piece band Souled Out 2 Funk. For this price, guests enjoy a great three-course dinner and stunning views over Broadway.
“Far from missing out on the magic of Christmas, we believe that there are many advantages to being an hour or two out of town.”
Cotswold Conference Centre’s Christmas Party Nights are being staged on 20th and 21st December this year. The venue, on the 370-acre Farncombe Estate with panoramic views over the Vale of Evesham, is easily accessed from the M4 and M50 motorways and only a 90 minutes’ train journey from London.
For those wishing to let their hair down, B&B is also available at a special price of £39 for a single room and £55 for a double or twin. To book, call 01386 858000 or email reception@cotswoldconferencecentre.com
