Position: Reception and Events Co-ordinating Manager
What do you do:
Once an event has been confirmed I am responsible for collecting and collating information from the client, ordering any special equipment required, allocating training rooms and bedrooms, and entering details on our database. Organise weekly Operations Meetings where I pass on the information for the following week’s events to the various department heads. Send a copy of the training room allocation to Control and Mark. Oversee any bed and breakfast bookings. Collect and collate information from the Farncombe database and transfer to the KX data base. Contact tutors for training room requirements. Enter details onto Training Room allocation Sheet. Check delegates/guest in and out. Create and check invoices at the end of an event, and also create deposit invoices. Throughout the week update the various departments of any changes which take place. Take b&b bookings and enter onto KX; update the nightly summary sheet for b&b bookings. Deal with client and delegate requests. Keep reception tidy. Fire Liaison officer. First Aider. Liaise with department heads
