CCC welcomes a new team of CSAs

Kate Driver, Lee Ebbrell (both pictured) and Mark Dixon have joined CCC to be the new team of Conference Services Assistants. Taking over from the previous CSA's, our new three CSA's are all on a placement year from university where they are working towards degrees in event or hospitality, management. Our CSAs are an integral part of the CCC team with flexibility and a “Can Do” attitude at the fore-front of their roles. Chris Catford, Assistant Operations Manager, says 'During this coming year the CSA’s will develop skills in time management, prioritising, working under pressure, and delegation of tasks. Our goal at the end of the year is for them to have adopted our ‘can do’ culture, which will help them in their careers by always being willing to go the extra mile'.

A double award celebration at Cotswold Conference Centre

The team at Cotswold Conference Centre are this week celebrating being shortlisted for two ‘Heart of England Excellence in Tourism’ awards. The annual contest is a celebration of the very best in tourism in the West Midlands and showcases the diverse and fantastic range of attractions, accommodation and tourism venues that the region has to offer.

“We heard about the Sustainability Award first and it was a huge thrill to be shortlisted as we have worked hard to minimise our impact on the environment.” Explained Assistant Manager, Chris Catford. “Then, a few weeks later we heard about being finalists in the Business Tourism Award – Best Conference Venue category so we are very excited about the black tie awards ceremony coming up next month.
