Sheepish insults heard in the bar at CCC

Cotswold Conference Centre has teamed up with local brewery, Goffs of Winchcombe, to launch a new brand of bottled beer exclusively for guests and delegates staying on the Farncombe Estate. After a competition held amongst the staff to find a name, the beer will be known as ‘Ewe Nutter’. “We already offer several bottled beers from the Black Sheep Brewery so this fits in well with our sheep theme and I expect people to flock to the bar - but they won’t be fleeced. We expect it will raise a few smiles from the guests!” commented James Irvine, who thought up the name. The beer has received the thumbs up from the CCC team and is described by the brewer as “a drinkable, tawny coloured ale, with a light hoppiness in the aroma. It has a good balance of malt and bitterness in the mouth, underscored by fruitiness, with a clean, hoppy aftertaste.”
