Earlier this month, CCC was re-assessed as an Investor in People. We are delighted to report that we passed with flying colours. When IIP is combined with our annual Hospitality Assured assessment, you could say that both show clearly that we care passionately about the work experience we give our staff and the service experience our customers enjoy time and again.

A seminar for Training Managers July 2009


CCC will be hosting a day for Training Managers offering them the opportunity to meet the award-winning team at CCC, see the improved facilities and attend a seminar on one of the new hot topics for 2009 - Workplace Wellness. Workplace Wellness is about the responsible actions that organisations take in ensuring the highest potential for the personal health and wellbeing of their people. The Learning Architects' ½ day workshop offers a toolkit of tips and techniques to improve individual wellbeing.

CCE/IACC study tour visit CCC


The Cotswolds area was the first overnight stop for this weeks CCE/IACC study tour. A large group of 35, all from leading UK conference centres, descended on us to benchmark and share best practice. It had been a busy day visiting three other centres, so after an informal Indian Buffet, the group were able to unwind still further in small groups with a most enjoyable CCC Quiz in the bar reviewing the events of 2008. Laughter and confusion followed! After a good sleep, a hearty cooked breakfast and some topical discussions, the coach sped away up the hill for the next stage of the 3 day tour.

Welcome back Jilly !

Five years ago we all shed a tear when Jilly Jones left the CCC sales team to start a family. Now trading under her married name of Jilly Tracey - she is back to give CCC a big boost for the new year! Head of Sales, Nick Akerman, commented, ‘It is very pleasing to welcome Jilly back as part of the sales team again. She made such a big impact with gaining key new clients for CCC when she was last here, we are looking forward to even more success from her in 2009.
